Ostravski Pohar II and III

Last two weekends we spent on competitions in Ostrava (Ostravski Pohar II and III). The venue is really great (for me also brings lots of nice memories, still it's the same hall I debuted with Sunday 10 years ago and same hall where I saw first ever Pyrshep in my life, who happened to became Brava and Evo's grandfather later on ;)), the carpet is the same as in AWC 2012, so really great, nice judge(s), Petr Dostal and Jaroslava Podmolova plus lots of great competitors to watch - so it's definetely worth going there. We also did pretty well. During the second Ostravski Pohar both Evo and Brava had lots of wins, both qualified for the final and then both got disqualified there (4 jumps in a straight line and then 5th from the other side is a bit too much even for me). We also had Brego measured by Petr Dostal, who found him to be 42-42,5, so we REALLY hope he's done growing for good :). Below are some best runs from both Evo and Brava.

Ostatnie dwa weekendy spędziliśmy na zawodach w Ostravie (Ostrawski Puchar II i III). Miejsce jest super (dla mnie bardzo szczególne, bo tam 10 lat temu zadebiutowałam ze spanielem na zawodach i tam też zobaczyłam pierwszego pyrka w swoim życiu, który potem miał się stać dziadkiem Bravy i Evoka :)), świetna sztuczna trawa (ta sama, co na MŚA 2012), doskonali sędziowie (Petr Dostal i Jaroslava Podmolova), fajna konkurencja - jednym słowem warto było tam być. Na 2. Ostravskim Pucharze zarówno Brava jak i Evo mieli sporo świetnych biegów, oboje zakwalifkowali się do finału i oboje się w nim zdisowali (4 hopki po prostej i 5 z outa to jednak lekkie przegięcie ;)). Przy okazji Petr Dostal wymierzył Brego na 42-42,5, więc NAPRAWDĘ mamy nadzieję, że już przestał rosnąć. Poniżej trochę biegów Evo i Bravy.

The third Ostrava Cup was equally nice, although the competition was a bit smaller with less competitors. But because of that the organizers let Flaszek run as "after-dog" in jumping and he did really well (video below)! We're sure that he will get better and better as his confidence will grow.

Evo and Brava were perfect as usually and won most of runs in medium between them ;). Again, they both qualified for the final. Roman with Evo ran as first and had faboulous run until last but one obstacle... so a really beautiful dis :). Olga and Brava had clean run and won with 10 seconds of advantage on the second placed dog :). They won a lovely cake for that as well as a bunch of other nice prizes (mostly sweets). 

Trzeci Ostravski Pohar był równie miły, chociaż zawodników było tym razem mniej. Jednak miało to ten plus, że organizatorzy pozwoli pobiec Flaszkowi w jumpingu w roli "po-psa" - Flaszek był mega dzielny (patrz filmik poniżej). Jesteśmy pewni, że z czasem jego pewność siebie będzie wzrastać i będzie coraz lepiej :). 

Evo i Brava jak zwykle byli super i na zmianę wygrali większość biegłów w medium, znowu kwalifikując się do finału. Romek z Evo biegli w finale pierwsi i mieli super bieg... aż do przedostatniej przeszkody (czyli coś w stylu ale piękna katastrofa), Olga z Bravą na czysto i z 10 sekundową przewagą nad drugim psem :). W nagrodę wygrały tort czekoladowy i dużo innych smacznych nagród :).
