As mentioned elsewhere, Flaszek spent his first year of life in the country and he lacks socialisation a little bit. Also, he hasn't learnt much in this first year. Second year of his life was devoted mainly to socialisation and he travelled a lot with Romek, visited Slovenia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Sweden, Luxemburg and Germany (he is a true dog of the world now). So now his third year of life is devoted to training ;) especially that Olga has puppy fever and no puppy to train. Flaszek is learning new skills and learning fast! Since we started, he learnt:
- spin left and right,
- run around handler left and right,
- foot target,
- backing up.
Today we did two sessions on weave poles - first with 2 poles, second with 4 poles and he did great. He offers running between the poles from various angles. Moreover, he retrieved a ball several times :).
We also did Susan Salo's equal distance jumping grid with height. Flaszek waited at the startline while I went 5 jumps ahead :).
What a good boy he is!

Which method do you teach weaves?

I mix 2x2 with chanel method. I do entries using 2 and then 4 poles and then go to channel from 12 poles. It worked really well for both Brava and Evo.

I've been trying to find hours and now I have got such splendid work.
